Visiting Background

On Nov.15^th, President Xi of China visited Australia. Accompanied members of the President’s visit include key personnel from Shandong, Jiangsu, Fujian, Hubei, Shanxi, Guangxi, Beijing, Chongqing and other related provinces and municipalities. The big and high level team of this visit signified the importance of Sino-Australian relationship and economic and trade cooperation. President Xi attended the G20 held in Brisbane. He also visited cities such as Canberra, Hobart and Sydney etc. President Xi’s visit to Australia had pushed a new round upsurge of Sino-Australian investment and trade cooperation.

On Nov.17^th, President Xi made a historic speech in the Australian Parliament and signed the Sino-Australian FTA with Australian Prime Minister the Hon Tony Abbott MP. President Xi had successfully finished his historic visit to Australia and had accomplished the Sino-Australian FTA. According to forecast of the relevant institutions, the signing of Sino-Australian FTA can bring about the economic benefit of 18 billions US dollars in ten years. This will have a breakthrough change impact on bilateral trade. Wine products, horticultural products, sea foods and coal account for 93% of Australian export products. The tariff for these products will be eventually cut to nil in 2019.The Sino-Australian FTA will create direct economic benefit for Sino-Australian trade companies and also construct convenient channel for Australian wines to enter Chinese market.

The visit of Vice-president Lin Jianneng of Lucky Horse Group to Australia

On Nov.16^th, Vice-president Lin Jianneng of Lucky Horse Group and General Manager of Lucky Horse Economic & Trade Company, who’s invited and arranged by the Oz-Town, had 5 days visit to Canberra, Hobart, Smithton and Sydney. His visit was successful, further deepened the cooperation of Lucky Horse with Oz-Town and effectively promoted the strategic mechanism of bilateral trust. Oz-Town as the high quality platform to provide the Sino-Australian trade and cultural innovation, had devoted to raise the export market share of Australian wines and foods in China and to service more Chinese consumers to realize the experience of perfect Australian lifestyle.

On Nov.17^th, accompany by Sophy Liu who’s in charge of AAA Fund, Mr. Lin Jianneng attended the “Sino-Australian Economic and Trade Forum”, which was held by the Australian government for the visit of Chinese President. The forum is the large important meeting of Sino-Australian trade and investment for Australian government and business leaders. Chinese President Xi Jinping and Australian Prime Minister the Hon Tony Abbott MP made wonderful speeches at the meeting.

On Nov.18^th, Mr. Lin Jianneng attended the TasInvest 2014, which was held by the Tasmania state government. He was also invited by Jeremy Rockliff who’s the Vice-governor and Minister of Agriculture and Education of Tasmania to attend the Sino-Australian VIP meeting (The VIP meeting had strict requirement of its attendees, no more than 5 good trading companies were invited).That night, Mr. Lin Jianneng and relative responsible persons of Oz-Town attended the dinner held by the meeting organization.

During the visit, Vice-president Lin Jianneng met and communicated with Governor of Tasmania, Fruit King, Abalone King of Tasmania and other celebrities. Mr. Lin also visited and communicated with the only agriculture training school of Tasmania about Zhangzhou Institute of Science and Engineering to be the cooperation platform (especially in dairy product and tourism service).He reached related agreements with the school and further discussed with the school about professional training, sharing of teachers, dispatch of agriculture experts to Zhangzhou Institute of Science and Engineering for teaching.
